Putting ideas into practice.

LASER

I founded and supervised LASER, the Liverpool Association for Space Engineering Research, bringing students together to develop satellites, rockets, and rovers.

After launching three rockets at the UKSEDS National Rocketry Championship, the team won first place. I’m proud of the students who made it happen, and excited to see what they do next.

Robotics research

My research explored automating the loading of an automatic screen printing press, using an ABB YuMi robot with motion capture, force feedback and wrinkle detection.
