My approach to mentorship is about values and being real. I’ll work with you to figure out where you are and where do you want to go in your career or life. We’ll have real talks and figure things out.
I offer the following:
- No judgement - Your story happened the way it needed to happen so that you reach where you are at today.
- Real talks - I will be honest with you. Some people think this means being a mean person. I will be honest in a productive way.
If you’re having a tough time, maybe you’re not where you want to be, we can figure it out together. We’ll work through what you want to do, and what you don’t want to do. We’ll establish your values and your personal mission in this life, and we’ll work together to help you achieve it.
Mentorship to me, is a place where we explore your professional being and what drives you. We can talk through work, leadership or engineering ideas you want to develop. You’ll bring your ideas, approach, and perspective and I’ll add to it with my experience, and we’ll bring it closer to reality. Collaborating can happen too, we’ll discuss what that could look like.
